Port Sanibel Marina is a beautiful "Old Florida" style marina complete with paved parking areas, lush park-like landscaping, marble bathrooms with showers, laundry, exquisite and delicious Lighthouse Restaurant, and Adventures in Paradise cruises / tours. Port Sanibel Marina became part of the R+L family of companies when it was purchased in 1995. After the purchase of the marina, the Roberts constructed a new dry storage boat barn. This building is an architectural gem featuring columns, 23 dormers, a 20 foot diameter copula, Bahama shudders, and a stucco exterior. It is rated to withstand hurricane force winds of up to 140 miles per hour. After it was constructed, the dry storage boat barn won the prestigious BOY and Safety Star architecture construction awards.
