Enzingerboden-Weisssee in the Hohe Tauern National Park

The pancakes tour is probably one of the most popular ski tours on Weissee and is probably the best known tour on Weisssee, called by the guides so because at the end of the tour return all at the mountain restaurant at Enzingerboden, where there are the pancakes legendary stopper! Details Pancakes Tour Starting point: Enzinger floor, 1,480 m, Getting to Rudolf hut, 2,315 m, with the cable car. Starting with a descent down the slopes in good conditions in the field, to the French property Alm From there it goes to the touring skis and skins towards Forcella Low - Rise of approximately 150 meters. Then leads the way with small increases over the Tauernmoos lake to Tauernmoos lake dam. All the way we have a fantastic panorama in mind: high Eiser, Stubachtal and Oedwinkel. Walk across the dam towards Röttenkogel (2,400 m), where extensively locked. The departure - total we drive over 1,000 meters in altitude from - takes us through one of the oldest pine forests of the Hohe Tauern over the old plant road of State web, through snow-covered pine forests with stunning powdery slopes. At the end of the road we are surrounded by an impressive tunnel, which creates huge ice curtains with an exciting finish to the tour.
