Viewpoint of Chio towards Pico Viejo and Narices del Teide craters (Narices del Teide) in the Teide National Park, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. The Teide National Park is located in the center of the island of Tenerife, is the highest peak in Spain, with 3,718 meters, and since 2007 is declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. For this and for many other reasons it becomes an essential visit. We can reach the Teide National Park through four access roads: TF-21 (from La Orotava, in the north of the island), TF-21 (from Granadilla, passing through Vilaflor), TF-24 (La Laguna- El Portillo) and TF-38 (Boca Tauce-Chío). Along these roads we find several points of maximum interest that have been enabled as Viewpoints: El Valle, La Tarta 1, La Tarta 2, Igueque, Montaña Limón, Izaña, Corral del Niño, Roque del Caramujo, El Alto de Guamaso , Portillo Visitors Center / Botanical Garden, Arenas Negras, San José Mines, Tabonal Negro, Teide Base, Majúa, Cañada Blanca, La Rouleta / Roques De García, Los Azulejos, Llano de Ucanca, Zapatillas de La Reina, Boca Tauce, Juan Évora Site Museum, Narices del Teide, Sámara, La Rambleta, La Fortaleza and Pico Viejo.
