The Teide National Park is located in the center of the island of Tenerife, is the highest peak in Spain, with 3,718 meters, and since 2007 is declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. For this and for many other reasons it becomes an essential visit. Mines of San José: white pumice area between the Teide cable car and El Portillo, on the main road. There is a parking area there, on both sides of the road, and a road starts on the south side.
