The street is an old tradesmens street in the historic old town of Freiburg im Breisgau with charming houses facades and many gastronomic establishments. It runs slightly from Schwabentor to Schoferstraße. Since the Middle Ages, Konviktstraße was one of the most lively streets, where many craftsmen had their home.
