The TU-Campus EUREF gGmbH, an affiliated institute of the Technical University of Berlin, has been an interdisciplinary networked European teaching, research and consulting institution in the fields of environment, climate, energy and mobility since its founding in 2008. In terms of content, the institute focuses on the societal transformation process from fossil energy concepts to concepts based on regenerative energy. The research focuses on the socio-technical implications of the energy transition and questions of social acceptance of technological innovations. On the EUREF campus in Berlin Schöneberg, research and consulting services, conferences, continuing education and training events for various target groups are offered in addition to the further education master programs. In August 2015, the two-week German-Russian Summer School "Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Urban Environments" took place on the campus in cooperation with the Russian Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg.
