Right next to the hotel of the same name is the Stork Tower. It is considered one of the most famous features in Tiengen. He was Built around 1300 and was once a cornerstone of the old town fortification. Partially, he served as a prison and was a so-called Diebesturm. Its hood was erected in 1899 and was decisive for today's name Storkturm, since once there a Storchenpärchen settled and he bore a stork-nest. Today, a ring should remind the nest or even move a new stork to settle in here.
