Quaint Black Forest ambience. No wonder, the memorial house was built by the Black Forest club as a hostel. Rustic the wooden walls and the wooden ceilings. Cozy the tiled stove, inviting the set tables. Hospitality in its original form. The 'tower', as the vernacular calls it, lies at the highest point, in the middle of the forest. Absolute silence. Dead end for the cars. Only the rustling of the forest, the singing of the birds, the scent of the meadow. And the fabulous view from the lookout tower into the distance. In the sunset and the mysticism of forests and mountains in the distance.
